International Agreements for Mutual Recognition of Degrees
Cyprus foreseen the challenges that emerge due to new developments in the European and International Educational Area is attempting to sign educational agreements with other countries for the mutual recognition of academic degrees. The objective of these agreements is the promotion of cooperation in the sectors of Sciences, Research and of Higher Education, in addition to the improvement and enhancement of student mobility.
Presently an agreement has been signed between Cyprus-Germany, Cyprus-Italy and Cyprus-Romania for the mutual recognition of qualifications and degrees.
Similarly, agreements between Cyprus-Italy and Cyprus-Romania are about to be concluded.
