Frederick Institute of Technology is dedicated to providing high quality and cost-effective education and training in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Business, Art and Design, Education, Health, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Instituteís main objective is to combine thorough academic education with a stimulating learning environment. Our faculty is encouraged to explore new ideas in teaching, learning and research, and to pursue educational objectives inspired by the privilege of scholarly inquiry, and in accord with FITís ethos and stated principles.

International Accreditation and Memberships:
National Accreditation

FIT is registered with the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus. The Institute offers courses accredited by the Council of Educational Evaluation Accreditation (SEKAP), the accrediting body of the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Institute has developed and maintains academic links with many universities in the USA, Russia, China, Ireland, Sweden, Greece, United Kingdom, and other European countries.

Links with Professional Bodies and Industry
FIT Programmes are highly regarded by employers and professional bodies. The programmes are continuously reviewed in consultation with industry and professional bodies and reflect updated trends and requirements. FIT graduates are highly sought after by employers in Cyprus and overseas, not only for their academic abilities but also for their professional skills. It is not only employers who think highly of FIT qualifications.
Many of FITís programmes have official "seal of approval" by professional bodies in the form of professional examinations, exceptions and requirements for membership.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance
FIT offers financial aid to full-time students in the form of academic merit scholarships, need-based assistance and athletic scholarships.† The scheme covers: Entrance Scholarships, Continuing Student Scholarships, Scholarships to Athletes and Financial Assistance.

Student Services
FIT provides most of the student services through its Studies and Student Welfare Service. The aim of the Service is to contribute towards the development of an academic environment that promotes constructive learning, academic success and the socialisation of FIT students. †The Service includes the following Offices: Studies Office, Admissions Office, Mobility Office, Career Office, International Students Office, Alumni Office, Student Ombudsman, Protection of Health Office, Social Support Office, Psychological Support Office, Academic Support Office, Sports Office, and Housing and Accommodation Office. In addition to the facilities and services mentioned above, FIT provides additional services to students such as computing services (e.g. email accounts, web access), library services (book loans, online articles), as well as recreation space and cafeterias.

Other:FIT operates from two campuses: one in the capital city of Nicosia, and another in the southern coastal city of Limassol.
