"Solon Kassinis Energy Training School & Research Centre" The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) at UCLan Cyprus in exclusive co-operation with Mr Solon Kassinis had established the "Solon Kassinis Energy Training School & Research Centre". The aim of the Centre is to prepare young Cypriots through professional training, enabling them to secure employment in the field of hydrocarbons thus creating strong potential for further advancement in the energy development sector.
Cisco Networking Academy We have established a Cisco Networking Academy at UCLan Cyprus. The Cisco CCNA Exploration curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of networking; from fundamentals to advanced applications and services, while providing opportunities for hands-on practical experience and soft-skills development. Cisco CCNA Exploration helps students prepare themselves for successful IT careers in small-to-medium businesses, as well as enterprise and service provider environments, and can easily be integrated into other technology-based education programmes.
European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) is proud to announce the commencement of its ECDL Academy, through partnership with the Cyprus Computer Society. The agreement allows also the possibility to offer the ECDL in Russian with UCLan Cyprus having the rights for the Larnaka and Ammochostos districts. In the competitive job market, IT and computing skills are increasingly required by all organizations independent of size and focus. Individuals applying for their first job; existing employees looking into enhancing their knowledge and skills to become more competitive or to plan a shift into their career do require the proof and certification of their competencies and skills.

Executive Education & Training The Institute will offer executive seminars and training workshops based on market research in the areas of emerging needs and opportunities. Sectors such as energy, economics, health, law, commerce, tourism and hospitality, family businesses, and telecommunications, innovation, marketing, customer service, strategic, personal and professional development, management people, communication, negotiation skills will include the priorities of the Institute.
Participation in European Programmes under Horizon 2020 and Erasmus + Alongside the Institute of Professional Studies, UCLan Cyprus will seek participation in European Programmes Programme life-long learning
