Private Institutes of Tertiary Education

There are 41 registered Private Institutions of Tertiary Education (PITE) in Cyprus which are established under the Institutions of Tertiary Education Law of 1996 (Ν. 67(I)/1996) and its amendments. The PITE are offering academic and professional undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, as well as short-term study programs. The short-term study programs lead to the acquisition of: Certificate (one-year study), Diploma (two-year study) and Higher Diploma (three-year study). All study programs offered by the Private Institutions of Tertiary Education are evaluated and accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA): https://www.dipae.ac.cy/index.php/en/
