Mission and Educational Philosophy

Alexander College is a vibrant and multicultural private Institute of Tertiary Education. It offers high quality of education to Cypriots and non-Cypriots. It is dedicated in adapting to continuous structural and educational change and needs. Alexander College is advancing in stable cooperation with a high rank United Kingdom University, the “University of the West of England” since 2012. Alexander College is offering a series of UK degrees in addition to its own degrees based on the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus regarding Schools of Tertiary Education Law (as amended) 2010-1(I) 2013. According to this legislation a Private Tertiary Education Institution may offer courses through the method of validation or franchise. The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications may recognize these degrees on conditionality of all provisions being met.

Financial Assistance

Alexander College offers financial aid to full time students in the form of high school academic achievement scholarships, athletic scholarships and need-based assistance. All of the above are subject to eligibility.


Facilities at Alexander College are modern (2012) and advanced. They are designed to provide our students with valuable practical resources and real working environments. College facilities include computer labs, an auditorium, printing and stationery shop, classrooms complete with viewing facilities, art and design studios, an outdoors roof and an indoors cafeteria and snack bar, administration/reception area and International Student Service. The college is also equipped with wireless Internet facilities in all areas and is fully air-conditioned throughout. Our fully equipped Library is in addition electronically connected to the collections of the University of the West of England.
